I'm an Anderson Faery Tradition initiate and long term practitioner of Southern folk magic and Pagan witchcraft. I've been involved in my local Pagan community for decades; I have helped organize several covens and ritual groups, events like the Goddess 2000 Project and Pagan Pride Day, conferences, and was the founding CEO of Athens Area Pagans, a nonprofit that is still thriving over a decade later.
This Patreon blog is to some extent a continuation of my Patheos blog A Word to the Witch, and as such is mainly focused on Pagan and witchy topics such as Southern folk magic, spoken charms, traditional witchcraft, sorcery of the ancient Mediterranean, and...what not. I am fully capable of taking off in almost any direction, though, so brace yourselves.

With an animistic and mythic lens, Divine Hours challenges patriarchal norms and envisions a more holistic, connected, and just world. Divine Hours is not a polished learning site but an honest space to think, question, and grow together.

'inclusive Wicca' includes all participants regardless of sexual orientation, disability, age, or other differences, not by erasing or ignoring the distinctions, but by working with them creatively within initiatory Craft.

It is not a new tradition, but a tendency or movement within existing traditions. Our understanding of polarity is that it is much more than a binary of male and female. The central mystery of Wicca is love in all its glorious diversity.

I am a gay, disabled Cuban-American living in the Mid-Atlantic. My path is comprised of folk magic, Druidry, and sacred queer spirituality through Queer Ancestor veneration. My work also includes engaging in spiritual activism as a form of embodied ritual. White Rose Witching (WRW) is rooted in standing in community with our ancestors and the spirits around us, and working to heal personal and community trauma. WRW has immense gratitude for the path forged by those who came before us, and recognize the work of healing and justice is far from done.
